Ensuring that we comply with all the criteria in the HSE Guidance for Employers for Selecting a First-Aid Training Provider. We run a full range of First Aid courses for your organisation and give you the option of a course with a formal qualification on the IQL framework, accredited by First Aid Awards.

Or if a formal qualification is not important to you, and you want to save a bit of money, you may wish for a course that is certified by Another Level Training Ltd. Both courses have exceptionally high standards of content and delivery and satisfy HSE requirements for a First-Aid Training Provider.
FAA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
Where a workplace first aid risk assessment identifies a need for an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace, this one-day qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
- The learner will gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations
- 6 Hours / 1 Day
- Up to 12 learners aged 16 or over, per trainer
- Ongoing assessment throughout the course
FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
Where a workplace first aid risk assessment identifies a need for a First Aider in the Workplace, this qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
- 18 Hours / 3 Days
- Up to 12 learners aged 16 or over, per trainer
- The practical assessment is ongoing throughout the course and scenarios will be set to enable a learner to demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills. A Workbook is completed throughout the course by a learner. Questions will be asked covering the theoretical assessment criteria to ensure that the learner has gained the required knowledge.
FAA Level 3 – 2 Day First Aid at Work Re-qualification
This 2-day First Aid at Work course is designed for those who currently hold a First Aid at Work qualification and are due to expire. A First Aider can renew their First Aid at Work qualification by attending a 2-day requalification course without question, if it’s within 1 month past the expiry date.
- 12 Hours / 2 Days
- Up to 12 learners aged 16 or over, per trainer
- Practical assessments conducted throughout the course and written test papers each day.

FAA Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid
This qualification is designed for learners to be able to undertake the role of the First Aider when in rural and the more remote regions of the UK where emergency medical assistance may be more than 30 minutes away.
The learner will gain the first aid skills and knowledge to competently and confidently provide first aid in a remote outdoor environment.
- This qualification meets the requirements for the first aid element of the expedition syllabus for the bronze, silver and gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.
- 16 Hours / Min of 2 Days

- The qualification is assessed through practical demonstration including oral questioning and written assessment.
FAA Level 3 – 1 Day Immediate Management of Anaphalyxis
This training is for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively.
This course is suitable for all First Aiders and healthcare professionals, as well as those in a high risk environment where such medication is available.
- 6 Hours / 1 Day
- Up to 12 learners aged 16 or over, per trainer
- A range of assessment methods are used, including, practical and questioning (open and multiple-choice).
FAA Level 2 Award in Oxygen Therapy Administration
The purpose of the qualification is to provide the skills, knowledge and understanding required to provide medical oxygen to a patient in line with guidelines and protocols.
The qualification covers how and when to administer oxygen and the safety concerns which need to be considered regarding the carrying, storage and administration of oxygen.
- This qualification is suitable for people holding a first aid qualification, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses and healthcare professionals.
- 6 Hours / 1 Day.
- Up to 12 learners aged 16 or over, per trainer
- This course can also be bolted onto a FAW / EFAW / PFA with fewer hours due to overlapping course content. The qualification is assessed through practical demonstration, oral questioning and written assessment.
Student First Aid – FAA Level 2 Award
The Government has introduced mandatory basic first aid training in all state-funded secondary schools in England. This training is part of relationships education, relationships and sex education (RSE), and health education, with the aim being that all pupils will have been taught basic first aid skills by the time they leave secondary school. In countries that already teach cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), survival rates are more than double those of the UK.
Department for Education guidance says that pupils should know:
- Basic treatment for common injuries
- Life-saving skills, including how to administer CPR
- The purpose of defibrillators and when one might be needed
- The qualification covers CPR and the safe use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), choking and common injuries such as head injuries, bleeding control, broken bones and sprains/strains.
- Learning first aid skills such as CPR will give young people the confidence to know that they can help someone and potentially save a life.

- Up to 24 Young people from age 11
- The qualification is assessed through practical demonstration and written assessment
